And so it begins …

Ok, so here it goes…

I’m talking about genealogy. Why? Because I freakin love it. Mostly it’s the thrill of the hunt. Finding out where I came from, connecting the dots, following the paper trail or breaking through that brick wall. No, it’s not my daytime job, but it’s my all the time hobby. And besides, I find it fascinating “digging up dead people”!

Let’s start off by saying, I AM NOT AN EXPERT in genealogy. But I do love to talk about my research and all the successes and struggles that come along with it. Let’s face it, even with all the research that I’ve done on my family history… my family can only take so much of my babbling on and on about a new ancestor that I’ve discovered. Don’t get me wrong, my family has been great! Yes they have been humoring me for many years now and I’d like to publicly thank them. Kudos to you all!

So please bear with me while I stumble my way through the world of blogging.

And thank you for joining me on this journey. Until next time…

Message to the future: Find me, remember me.

  1. Hi Angela and welcome to blogging. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. It has been a wonderful creative outlet, has allowed me to share my passion for travel and photography and introduced me to some wonderful new friends. I have dabbled very little in genealogy, but thankful to have relatives on both sides of my family that were quite good at doing the research and willingly shared their results. Best wishes! ~ Joanne

    1. Thank you Joanne for the Welcome! I too hope that this will be an adventurous outlet for me. I must say that all the years that I’ve researched my ancestry, it has given me quite the appetite for travel- taking genealogy on the road has been fun!
      Thanks for stopping by 🙂
